LER Pink Ribbon Festival To Benefit BCRFUpdated Tuesday October 24, 2017 by Carlos Ospina.
On Sunday October 8th, LER Soccer Club, in partnership with Estee Lauder Companies and Greis Park held it's first ever Pink Ribbon Soccer Festival to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). U10 teams from LER and other towns got together on a very rainy and soggy day to raise money and awareness for a great cause. Teams from LER, Hewlett, North Shore, Valley Stream, Roosevelt and others played with all registration fees and donations going to the BCRF. A great time for a great cause.
Thanks to Pat MCDermott and the Greis Park staff for setting up the park for this event. Thanks to Adelphi Univeristy Delta Gamma sorority for coming down to volunteer their time and help out. Thanks to all the club volunteers for taking time from their busy day to help out and thanks to all the teams from participating. Looking forward to next year!
